Chapter 11

Ellie

I'm standing in the middle of my room packing my bags and thinking over the last week. It's been a very good week and one I want to repeat over and over again.

Monday, I spent the day writing in Owen's office. I don't know what it is about his office, but I find it the best place to write, I get so much done. He ordered lunch for us again and took some time to sit and eat with me. He fed me while I sat on his lap and just talked about the day so far.

Monday night he showed up with a bag of his stuff saying he wanted to go straight to work the next day because of a meeting. The money for the month also appeared in my account that night. It hurt my heart a little bit, but it felt better than the weekend with his walls up.

Tuesday, I went to the spa with my mom, and we had a wonderful day. We had several different treatments in the same room. My mom tried a seaweed treatment while I ventured for a mud wrap. Then we let ourselves be talked into a full body coffee scrub.

We both got massages, manicures, and pedicures and ended the day by getting our hair cut and styled. It was so relaxing. My mom even agreed to come over Saturday night and watch the kids when I told her about the test run at Owen's house. I think she wants to see his house and snoop around.

Wednesday was much like Monday. I went to his office to write, but yesterday I stayed home and cleaned up around the house between writing.

Today I am packing bags to head to his house for the weekend. He plans to come pick me up and help with all the luggage. Then we will take my car and pick the girls up together before heading to his house.

The girls are excited. Owen has told them he has a few surprises up his sleeve for them. They’ve been trying to guess what they are ever since, but his lips have been sealed.

With me, he hasn't taken it any further than kissing this week. My body is craving him and missing the mind-blowing orgasms. So, I plan to get that connection back this weekend.

I finish packing my bag and take it to the living room with the girls’ when there is a knock on the door. I check the peephole and see that it’s Owen

He kisses me hello and then helps me carry the bags downstairs to my car. He insists on driving as we pick up the girls. On the way to his house the girls are talking about their day and I relish how normal this all is. How much it feels like the family I crave for the girls and me. I can't wipe the smile off my face the whole way there.

We walk in and the girls are excited about staying in the 'castle' like a real-life princess.
